As part of my healing artistry, I create weekend workshops designed to celebrate the complex beauty of women!
Set in the beautiful Jemez Mountains of New Mexico, young women from around the country gather to explore and celebrate what it means to be a woman. Using dance, mind-body practices, sharing in pairs and as a group; we discover the beliefs that have formed us into the women we have become. We also decide whether or not those beliefs serve us in embodying the goddess within.
I am currently seeking women 18 and older for our next retreat who are interested in exploring their own power and how to connect to, direct, and conduct the energy within their own bodies, as well as in relationships.
The next Embodying the Goddess Retreat will take place in April 2010. Please email me if you are interested or have more questions.

Liz Klug, Healing Artist
The human body wants to thrive and has the innate capacity to do so. At any given moment, our bodies are sending us messages to aid in proper maintenance. Unfortunately, often times the lines of communication have been clogged up with stagnant energy. This lack of flow can manifest in many ways such as low back pain, aching joints, headaches, tense muscles, lack of energy and even difficult emotions. These blocked up places hinder our ability to understand what we need to feel well.
I am trained in many somatic psychology modalities as well as massage techniques that allow me to act as an interpreter for your body. I have worked extensively on issues of sexual trauma and abuse as well as eating disorders and addiction. I also work with children of all ages, including those labeled behaviorally and learning disabled. I have been practicing the healing arts for over 5 years and have studied with international teachers across the country. I love working with people who are interested in becoming more aware of their body sensations and more able to respond to their body’s needs. I offer hour and fifteen-minute sessions on and off the table, clothed and unclothed, based on what is most appropriate for you and your needs.
